Although the themes vary, Michael Godard’s art changes the face of even the most traditional subjects, creating mood and mystery on canvas, that at times are painted so realistic you feel as though the subjects will reach out and touch you. Godard finds a unique way of unfolding this delicate balance of texture, color, humor and imagination to evoke drama and emotion of all kinds.

No matter what the subject, from lizzards lounging around to olives jumping in martinis to grapes chasing corks, one thing gallery owners and the public agrees on, “Michael Godard’s paintings are incredible!”

I love martinis. Seriously, what is more manly than drinking a martini the right way? It conjures up the great feelings of watching 007 and the 007 women.

Art that calls to this certain type of man that want elegance but still think that elegance has a sense of humor that needs to be explored is priceless.
